Job Description: Manager, Politically Exposed Persons, Risk & Compliance ResearchAbout the RoleDow Jones Risk & Compliance is a global provider of third-party risk management and regulatory compliance solutions. We deliver data, research tools and services to help our clients meet anti-money laundering, anti-bribery, anti-corruption and economic sanctions regulations and mitigate third-party risk.You will lead and develop a team of multilingual experts who research, record and update details on senior political figures from specific countries for the Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) content set within Dow Jones Risk & Compliance. You will report to the Director, Politically Exposed Persons. You will be based in Barcelona.You Will:Train, support and develop your team to maximize their potential through motivation, coaching, counseling, and delegation.Organize and assign tasks to your team, allocating resources appropriately.Monitor and evaluate your team's performance.Respond to clients' questions about Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) content.Monitor and analyze changes in anti-money laundering regulations.Write due diligence reports on companies and/or individuals as required and contribute to other projects.Collaborate and engage with other departments and support the Director to drive key business initiatives and decisions.Contribute to data and workflow improvements, and tool efficiencies including aiding in the adoption of new tools and processes.You Have:Fluency in English.Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership and coaching skills.Understanding of PEP regulations.At least one year's experience as a professional researcher or analyst.Proofreading skills and experience in handling large volumes of information.Experience managing a team or leading a project.Experience explaining data or processes and handling complex clients' queries.Sound decision-making and problem-solving skills.An openness to different views and appreciation of team diversity.Preferred:Fluency in additional languages.Knowledge of and interest in politics and anti-money laundering regulations.Automation skills, such as advanced knowledge of Excel, Macros/VBA programming, Python, HTML and/or SQL.Education to a degree level or relevant experience.Benefits:Comprehensive Healthcare Plans.Paid Time Off.Retirement Plans.Family Care Benefits.Subscription Discounts.Employee Referral Program.Reasonable accommodation: Dow Jones is committed to providing reasonable accommodation for qualified individuals with disabilities, in our job application and/or interview process.
