Additionally, we will be launching soon in other regulated marketsJunior QA Analyst ResponsibilitiesThe Junior QA Analyst is responsible for applying the principles, practices and standards of functional & acceptance testing throughout the software development life cycle. Supporting the business with test coordination activities, functional testing, test execution on digital systems, defect management and handover to the relevant teams.This role also entails working closely with Release manager, Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, QA Lead & External Suppliers.Living in Barcelona’s area or being able to travel to Barcelona as/when requested is required to build a strong collaborative team.Key ResponsibilitiesDriving quality assurance measures and testing standards across the BusinessReview software requirements to ensure they are clear to all aspects of the businessWork closely with Business Analysts & Product owners to determine the scope of testing on projectsCreate and execute manual tests to check the functionality of the software works as expectedRaise issues with the development teams when the platforms do not behave as expectedWork with business stakeholders to identify the priority and severity of defects raised and assigned to the correct partiesRe-test defects that have been fixed by the development teamsCreate, implement and maintain test repository in PracticesTest any new software to ensure integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specificationsCommunicate test progress, results, issues impacting deliverables and all relevant information to project stakeholdersEngage with internal & external team to identify and facilitate to resolve any dependencies, identify workarounds and solutions to achieve testing timelinesRequired ExperienceExperience with Software Quality AssuranceExperience in Online gaming systems is beneficialExperience in defect management tool JIRA or any other defect management tools desirableExperience of Agile development (Scrum) desirableExperience using Selenium or any other tool for automation testing in web desirablePersonal QualitiesAbility to multi-task and prioritize within a busy and challenging environmentAbility to analyze business requirements and create testing documentationAbility to communicate in a clear and timely manner with stakeholdersConfident when dealing with multiple projects and changing and conflicting prioritiesAbility to work effectively as part of a team.
