Ontex was founded in Belgium in 1979 and is listed on Euronext Brussels.To reinforce our R&Dteam we are looking for a Inno Project Manager.Mission and Key TasksThe Project Manager within the Innovation project management team is necessary to coordinate key-projects for Ontex strategy that require close management and follow-up from a cross-departmental perspective. This is achieved by co-ordinating people, processes and systems and acting as a liason between the project team, senior management and commercial/ operational teams in order to deliver business projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.What am I expected to deliver, and what are my main tasks?Set up overall project definition: scope, time, resources, risks and budget, and manage the project/s within these defined parametersDrive the complete project life cycle from kick off (Gate 0) to Evaluation (Gate 5), following the defined requirements of the innovation processBe the overall driver and organizer behind the project teamDrive the multifunctional team to solutions when roadblocks arise, and escalating to management when necessaryPrepare a detailed project plan and schedule key project milestones, workstreams and activitiesDevelop comprehensive project plans that merge the different involved departments and stakeholdersMonitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverablesCommunicate proactively with all involved stakeholders to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvementsReview proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changesSet up tools and documents to enable project managementSet up the governance, change management and structure behind the projectBackground and ExperienceWhat is the educational requirement for the job?Master’s degree (university or equivalent through experience) in any fieldWhat prior experience is required for the job?Minimum 3 years of project management experience in any field (Experience in FMCG industry is a plus)Which technical skills do I need to master?Fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of any other European language is a plusGood knowledge of MS Office (using SharePoint and Teams to manage projects is a plus)Experience using any Project Management tool (MS Project, MS Planner, Jira, Slack, Trello, etc)Professional certification is a plus (Prince II…)Interested in your next step at Ontex?
