We are a band of tech enthusiasts passionately looking to reshape and transform the way product, application, data and analytics teams are empowered to leverage public cloud services. As a Cloud Engineer at Bunge, you’ll be at the forefront of our cloud revolution. You’ll craft innovative and high-impact solutions with global scope and turn them into reality. Essential Functions Brainstorm, design, and build new GCP-powered solutions that push the envelope for high-impact workload use cases across the company, from Supply Chain & Logistics to Plant Operations, from Commercial to Trading. Be at the forefront of implementing cloud within Bunge, across geographies and functions, finding optimal solutions for specific use cases using or bringing new ideas to existing solutions. Be recognized as an expert in your area. Collaborate with Software Development, Data Science and DevOps teams to understand requirements and build automated solutions, such as CI/CD, data pipelines or deployment infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform. Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates using Terraform to provision resources, manage configurations, and ensure consistency across cloud use cases. Lead efforts to architect and maintain Bunge Cloud Platform configurations (network and security constructs), ensuring secure integration with company applications. Track costs and optimize application infrastructure, promoting best use of cloud consumption. Build and implement platform monitoring to ensure high availability of the cloud platform. Implement data protection and identity access management policies to safeguard cloud resources and data. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree, or combination of years of experience and education, in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum 2-4 years hands-on experience with major public cloud services, with preference to GCP (Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Composer). Google Cloud Professional certifications (Architect, Data Engineer, or DevOps) are a plus. Experience building monitoring solutions with Google Cloud Monitoring or other tools (e.g., Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, SolarWinds). Ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to technical resources clearly. Demonstrable Terraform experience. Experience implementing Kubernetes and Docker (or similar container engine) solutions. Knowledge of Python and scripting languages (e.g., Bash). Experience with Data Platform products and big data technologies like Spark is a plus. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, global, ever-changing atmosphere.
