Producer - FIBA Media

A fantastic opportunity to create and deliver basketball content for FIBA top-tier competitions around the world, for both men's and women's categories across all age groups, and to distribute this content to broadcast and digital media platforms. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Producer to lead content creation for FIBA competitions. This role involves developing a wide range of content, from long-form pieces to social media reels, and managing the content team. The Producer will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive content plan for each competition and will be instrumental in proposing innovative concepts to enhance FIBA’s brand visibility and engagement. You'll be responsible for: Content Creation and Management: Develop and produce all types of content related to FIBA competitions, including promotional videos, event coverage, long-form content, and social media reels. Act as the final Quality Control on all content. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and promotes FIBA competitions effectively. Team Leadership: Lead and manage the editorial team, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality output. Foster a collaborative and creative team environment. Manage the rota of freelance APs and editors and book post-production resources. Content Planning and Strategy: Support the Senior Producer in producing and developing detailed content plans for each competition, outlining key deliverables, timelines, and distribution strategies. The candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish, with strong English editorial skills. This role will be based in our Madrid office. As our new Producer, you’ll have the opportunity to: Supervise the content production team and make editorial judgments appropriate to service requirements. Work with internal DAZN and FIBA Communications teams to ensure timely delivery of content. Understand and implement new technologies used in multi-platform product delivery. Work efficiently under tight deadlines, offering creative and flexible solutions to develop and optimize content across platforms. Build and maintain proactive relationships with in-house teams, managing technical aspects of broadcast and digital media content delivery. Participate in regular product review processes with senior management and internal departments. You'll have: Proven experience as a sports producer in broadcast and digital content creation. Excellent editorial judgment and strong knowledge of international basketball. Understanding of social media platforms and current trends. Leadership skills with confidence to lead a team. Ability to define project scope, goals, and deliverables collaboratively with management and clients. Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content concepts.
