In the Advanced Analytics our mission is to deliver impact by building machine learning products to optimize pricing and marketing investments and provide guidance to our sales organization.Within the Cloud Infrastructure team, we ensure that our Data Science teams have all the technology assets they need to perform their duties and that our Big Data environment is secure and has an uptime of 99.99999%. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to the success of our team through the development of new automation and maintenance of existing ones, ensuring their compliance with security policies. You will also help maintain and deploy infrastructure elements.We offer an international experience, collaborative culture, top-rate experience in AI and ML, and the opportunity to create significant real-world impact.What you will doBuild and maintain services and systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines for infrastructure and application management.Identify and automate manual processes.Monitor availability and performance of services and systems and implement alerts to detect SLA breaches.Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage for cost efficiency, implementing serverless solutions and automated scaling where applicable.Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies and backups for critical services and databases.Work closely with development and data science teams to ensure their applications are designed for cloud-native operations.Work in a geographically distributed team.What you will needBachelor’s in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.4-7 years of work experience, preferably in distributed & cloud computing, software & cloud design, programming languages, agile development methodologies, or a related field.Strong problem-solving skills, working on problems of diverse complexity and scope.Proactivity in identifying opportunities for improvement and eagerness to explore new solutions, staying ahead of the curve in technology and best practices.Ability to work under pressure as well as in autonomous mode.Experience operating cloud-based infrastructure: AWS is required.In-depth understanding of AWS services: IAM, VPC networking, S3, EC2, RDS, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail.Experience with container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.Experience with IaC framework: Terraform.Proficient in Python development.Nice to haveAbility, if needed, to lead projects, providing direction to team activities and facilitate information validation and team decision-making processes.Experience with application lifecycle management tools: Git, GitHub Pull Requests, JIRA.Experience with CI/CD orchestration: GitHub Actions.Experience with monitoring tools: Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch.Experience with cloud SQL & NoSQL databases preferred.Experience with Linux operating system.Experience in deploying REST API services.Azure is a plus.#LI-POSTEntity Sales & ServicesJob - SoftwareSchedule - Full timeShift - No shift premium (Spain)Travel -Relocation -Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) -HP, Inc. provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and prospective employees, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sexual orientation, age, disability, or status as a protected veteran, marital status, familial status, physical or mental disability, medical condition, pregnancy, genetic predisposition or carrier status, uniformed service status, political affiliation or any other characteristic protected by applicable national, federal, state, and local law(s).Please be assured that you will not be subject to any adverse treatment if you choose to disclose the information requested.
