We invite applications for these positions to be submitted to info@geonumerics.com with reference JR-SW-2024-01.About the candidate: expected background and skillsWe are looking for junior software engineers with the following degrees and skills:Bachelor or master's degree in software engineering, or comparable background.Basic mathematical background.Technical programming skills in C and/or C++.Experience with Windows, Linux, and Android operating systems.Experience with software documentation/management tools (e.g., doxygen, redmine, GitHub or related).Software development environments such as Visual Studio or Eclipse.In addition, we will value experience in/with or knowledge of:Technical programming skills in one or more of these programming languages: Python, Matlab, Simulink.Development of real-time applications.Scientific and technical quality typesetting (LaTeX).Fluent English and quality writing, or other languages.Participation in sports or playing an instrument.Do not hesitate to contact us. We develop software and conduct applied research in the areas of geomatics and navigation.GN members are geomatics/navigation experts of various scientific (mathematics and physics), technical (software engineering and cartography), and management backgrounds. Global satellite navigation systems, inertial navigation, drone navigation, and applications, navigation of robots and autonomous vehicles is our business.We develop and license state-of-the-art software components, provide consultancy services, and conduct research and development (R&D) projects for the geomatic and navigation markets. We focus on the needs and technology of high precision kinematic surveying; sensor orientation/calibration, trajectory determination, and their integration.Our software is used worldwide.
