Then we might be looking for you We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to join the region SOUTHWEST Europe at VELUX.In this role, you will be an important contributor to the achievement of our ambitious growth plans, managing the regional project portfolio and ensuring effective execution.You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are effectively planned, executed and controlled.You will lead a team of 4 project managers and your geographical scope will include France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.Your mission will also consist in spearheading innovative project management practices and strengthen project management capabilities across the organization.Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistent project management practices, leading a team of 4 Project Managers to coordinate project delivery in the assigned markets.Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of the project portfolio, facilitating capacity allocation between global, regional and local strategic initiatives and ensuring resource optimization. Review governance and enhance project proposals and business cases evaluation for prioritization and resource allocation.Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and implement robust project performance monitoring and reporting mechanisms, enabling data-driven decision-making for achieving our growth targets.Risk and Issue Management: Establish proactive processes for identifying, assessing and mitigating project risks and issues.Change management: Develop change management plans, incl. communication plans to share the progress of the projects.Stakeholder Management and Business Impact: Foster significant relationships with project stakeholders. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.Be part of facilitating and preparing the regional business cycle, templates…Through in-depth analysis and by applying a hypothesis oriented approach to problem solving.REPORT TO:Regional Business Development DirectorPROFILE:Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. Master's degree is an asset.Extensive experience (5+ years) in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects (Management Consulting Experience preferred or in-house Business Development experience with successful commercial engagements).High knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.Advanced leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve great results.Advanced communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, with a keen focus on driving business impact.Passion and solid experience for conducting transformation and support change within a multinational organization.Proficiency in project management tools and software.Experience working in a multi-country context, specifically in France, Benelux, Italy, Spain and Portugal, is recommended.Fluent in written and spoken EnglishAbilities:Strategic thinking and analytical skills: global vision, data driven, forward thinking, creativity and ability to structure delivery planningPeople leadership demonstrated abilities: talent attraction, motivation and growthCuriosity, unsatisfiable need to ask why and key strength in challenging the status quoCapacity to multi-deliver & adapt to different situations and local culturesFurthermore, humble team player with cultural flair and have a well-developed curiosity in other people and their motivationsLocation:The position is to be filled either in Morangis (South of Paris) or Madrid.At VELUX, our growth ambitions are significant, and we are looking for a passionate and results-oriented PMO Manager who can make a tangible business impact.
