HQ - Accounting & Controlling Associate (Madrid)Join us to work on the future of work: your next adventure awaitsWe are looking for an Accounting & Controlling Associate to join our global finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting the monthly and annual closing processes.You will also analyze accounts, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with applicable tax and accounting regulations.This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and eager to grow in a dynamic environment.ResponsibilitiesRecord and update daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, income, and expensesPerform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between the company’s records and bank statementsAssist in the monthly and annual closing process by preparing reports and making necessary account adjustmentsAnalyze accounting accounts to detect inconsistencies or errors and ensure the accuracy of financial recordsPrepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsFile and organize accounting documents such as invoices, payment receipts, and other financial recordsEnsure compliance with applicable tax and accounting laws and regulationsSupport external audits by providing requested documentation and informationConduct variance analysis and provide explanations for significant financial variancesCollaborate with other departments to resolve financial issues, such as billing discrepancies or pending paymentsYou have...At least 1 year of experience in recording and updating accounting entries, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting month-end closingsStrong skills in analyzing accounts and preparing accurate financial reportsExperience in organizing and managing accounting documentsKnowledge of applicable tax and accounting regulationsExcellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teamsStrong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teamsFull fluency in English; another language would be a plusWhat we’re aboutAt Job&Talent, we're revolutionising the employment market globally.
