Overview As an Operational Risk Management Consultant, you will work with industry-leading clients across your sectors to reduce risks and improve business continuity and asset productivity. You’ll save lives, drive performance and improve the working lives of all your clients’ employees. As a freelance consultant, you will work with our team to deliver coaching and support to our clients to help evolve their culture and behaviours when it comes to safety and risk management. This will involve working closely with managers and supervisors on site with the client, supporting and coaching them in the implementation of dss+ methodologies. Responsibilities Work as a coach to help change behaviours Lead the delivery of solutions in safety culture and/or behavioural-based safety; PSM; or operational excellence Job Requirements At dss+, we embrace and celebrate diversity. Ideally, you will hold a degree or master’s degree in engineering or a business-related field, coupled with experience in management consulting and coaching with previous exposure to operational risk management, operational excellence, safety and/or culture change. You demonstrate experience and an understanding of the operational issues in heavy industries such as Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities, Chemicals, Transport or Food & Beverage. You have a deep understanding of safety or operational excellence, and are able to leverage it externally (guiding clients, creating points of view, etc.). You will have excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. You will be fluent in Spanish and English and be able to work in both languages seamlessly.
