Develop and implement the Global Asset Management and Operation & Maintenance operating model across the organizations in the Business Units in close coordination with the different stakeholders to promote efficiency along the value chain.
RESPONSIBILITIESDefine the Global process and Operating model for the maintenance of the generation plants of the company. Develop innovative O&M solutions including; O&M strategy design, bid preparation, partner identification, new project development, hand over, and continuous improvement, as we strive for operational excellence. Run programs of cost-out measures and availability improvement by implementing standards, best practices, IT Tools, and Tools for the O&M site operations. Set out Global Targets, develop Key Performance Indicators, and oversee the performance of the asset portfolio, monitoring key metrics such as generation output, availability, reliability, and efficiency. Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance, mitigate risks, and maximize profitability. Manage the Global Remote Operations Center overseeing all generation plants of the company and implement processes in conjunction with O&M to improve response times. Manage the financial performance of the asset portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures. Monitor assets revenue streams, operating expenses, and capital expenditures to maximize returns on investment and achieve financial targets. Conduct and provide monthly variance analysis, understand contributing factors, and help develop recovery plans with a focus on Revenues (generation, prices, Rec's). Prepare Generation Performance reports together with the Financial Controllers, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, providing insights into the financial health and performance of the portfolio. Understand the Electricity Market dynamics and specific PPA commitments to support relevant Function dealing with price management, green certificates, stock management, and report obligations, among others. Liaise with Offtakers, Grid Management, and Regulatory authorities as the primary point of contact, fostering positive relationships and effective communication. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, permits, licenses, and contractual agreements governing the operation of multi-technology AM + O&M services (PV, Wind, BESS & Green Hydrogen). Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry standards, advising the company on compliance requirements and potential impacts on operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Project management; Wind turbine and wind farm technology; Service and maintenance management; Economic analysis.
- IT: MS Office, SAP
- Proven experience (15+ years) leading AM & OM, preferably within the renewable energy industry with a focus on Wind, PV, BESS, and H2 assets. Experience leading a high-performing global team.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, asset management principles, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful asset management strategies to drive operational excellence and financial performance.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data to inform decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English; additional languages preferred, especially those relevant to European markets.
