SAP Senior Business AnalystOur opportunityJoin our team to collaborate with internal Zurich Finance teams and external IT suppliers on Business-as-Usual Change Requests and participate in various projects. Your role will involve analyzing business requirements, translating them into detailed IT specifications, and working with internal and external IT teams to develop solutions within our Global Finance Core SAP Platform. You will oversee the development and delivery of IT solutions to ensure they meet both business and IT requirements.Your roleAs an SAP Senior Business Analyst (FICO - Integration), your key responsibilities will include:Gathering and analyzing business requirements.Understanding customer processes and products and aligning them with the goals of the business unit and the Global Finance Core Platform.Defining project scope for interfaces and developing functional specifications.Preparing SDLC-compliant preliminary Systems Design documents.Demonstrating a strong understanding of complex integration patterns, technologies, and reusable components.Collaborating with technical roles and comprehending technical concepts related to SAP development and integration.Documenting all new and modified solutions to be implemented.Supporting and performing application testing, implementation, and training activities.Conducting quality review checks on Change Request/Project deliverables.Providing consultancy and support to Finance teams in their use of SAP/Integration Solutions to achieve business objectives.Ensuring customer centricity and data security are integral to all proposed business and IT solutions.Managing day-to-day prioritization of work on capabilities in collaboration with the business.Performing Business Process Modelling and Business Process Re-engineering as needed.Understanding the overall requirements and solution design across multiple workstreams, including the end-to-end view of any system changes.Working with the business to shape the business case and providing expert consultancy.Your Skills and ExperienceAs a Senior Business Analyst, your skills and qualifications ideally include:3-6 years of Business Analysis experience with the ability to work independently. Awareness of a broad range of analysis and modelling techniques. BAEP or equivalent qualification.4-5 years of experience in SAP/Interface analysis, design, and implementation.A university degree in IT and/or Business or equivalent experience.Experience with Data integration flows, ETL, and APIs.KNOWLEDGEStrong understanding and demonstrable experience in SAP FICO version ECC 6 and knowledge of SAP S4HANA.Experience in SAP/Non-SAP interfacing landscape, SAP process integration and orchestration architecture, and preferably SAP Cloud Integration and REST APIs.Detailed understanding of one or more business area processes and procedures.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESEffective team player.Strong listening and questioning skills.Good business acumen.Ability to work under pressure.Strong analytical skills.Confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.Willingness to engage at the early stages of projects and handle uncertainty.Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities.Strong coaching skills for skill transfer and development, contributing to succession planning (Lead/SME).BenefitsOver 300 euros to set up your home office and additional monthly home office allowance.Wide range of internal and external trainings, including free English, German and Spanish classes depending on the needs.Ticket restaurant or flexibility to exchange it for other benefits.Life, accident, and Health Insurance.Collective Life Retirement Plan.2000 referral bonus if you bring other talented people like you.Special banking and insurance conditions plus Exclusive Employees discounts.Functional diversity benefits.Events: summer and Christmas party, different activities like hiking, investment, beach volley club and many more.No dress code.#LI-HybridPrimary work location is Barcelona, Poblenou.
