Create the visualization concept and the specification within the cost and time constraints of a material handling project while ensuring that the visualization methods and standards meet the requirements of the project.What we offer:Career DevelopmentCompetitive Compensation and BenefitsPay TransparencyGlobal OpportunitiesTasks and Qualifications:Main Job Objectives:Deliver the assigned project scope and tasks by meeting/exceeding our safety, quality, On-Time-Delivery and budget requirements.Defining the visualization concept and creating specificationsEditing the overview layouts and customer-specific documentsClarifying order details internally with other departments and externally with customers and suppliersCreating the entire visualizationCommissioning the systemsOccasional system support during the start-up phase until production is handed overTraining of customer personnel and our own service employeesGeneral Responsibilities:To maintain the Dematic image as a top-quality, professional company, by adopting an honest, professional and attentive approach.To maintain good relationships with all internal and external customers, through the provision of a high-quality service.To liaise with other Company Departments, Customers and sub-contractors.To maintain and use wherever possible Dematic standards.To comply with the company policies.To promote personal and business continuous improvement and development of processes to achieve improved time cost and quality or project delivery.Knowledge & Experience Required:HNC/HND in Electrical/Controls Engineering as a minimumDesirable: Educated to degree level in a relevant disciplineExperience in a similar roleGood understanding of SCADA systems and where appropriate in PLC and HMI softwareHands-on experience with process visualization systemsGood understanding in the installation and configuration of computer systems and server systemsUnderstanding of distributed control systems desirable not essentialUnderstanding of automated warehouse desirable not essentialBachelor or Master degree in EngineeringThe role requires a willingness to travel approximately 30% to our customer locations within the EMEA European region.About UsKION Supply Chain Solutions (KION SCS) is an operating unit of the KION Group, consisting of the two strong and successful brands Dematic and DAI.
