We see this as an amazing opportunity to join the company as we build our product and scale globally.We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Vue.js and experience working with the Quasar Framework. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, performant user interfaces. If you have experience with backend technologies such as .NET Core, it’s a valuable plus that will enable you to contribute more broadly across our stack.In this role you will:Design and build world-class web applications using Vue.js and the Quasar FrameworkEstablish and promote frontend development standards and best practices, ensuring high-quality code and deliveryCollaborate closely with our product manager, UX designer, and backend engineers to shape and implement new features and improvementsFacilitate technical discussions and decision-making, driving architectural choices and ensuring scalable, maintainable codebasesConduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and encourage continuous learning and skill development among the teamManage project timelines and technical roadmaps, ensuring that deliverables meet business requirements and deadlinesOptimize frontend performance, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and uphold security standardsStay updated with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development, bringing innovative ideas to the teamWhat you need to be successful:8+ years of experience as a frontend engineer, with a strong focus on Vue.jsProven experience in leading and mentoring frontend teams, with a track record of fostering a positive and productive engineering cultureProficiency with the Quasar Framework or willingness to quickly become an expertStrong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSSAbility to translate complex UI/UX designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect implementationsFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, component-based design patterns, and state management libraries such as VuexExperience with frontend build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, Vite, NPM)Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challengesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teamsFamiliarity with modern version control practices (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with best practices in mobile design (human interface guidelines, threading, bandwidth considerations, etc.)Good communicator who can work well within a delivery team and manage interactions with other parts of the organizationVery enthusiastic about user interface and customer experience centricTeam player who is willing to stand up and put forward ideasExperience working in a fast-growing tech start-up/scale-upExtreme ownership, a can-do attitudeFluent in Spanish and EnglishA little more about you:You are open-minded and proactiveYou are a problem solver, no matter the languageYou’re used to working with best practices and design patternsReal-world experience working in Agile teamsBenefits:Private health and dental careAttractive wage and daily perksGreat office in the centre of Barcelona (Diagonal / Augusta)Free daily food at Honest GreensVery dynamic and challenging environment30% remote work possibleInternational, open-minded and united teamHardware and tools needed to do the jobThis role will be reporting into the VP of Engineering.
