Role OverviewAs a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind our dispatching services. You'll collaborate closely with our Operations Team to transform complex business needs into elegant, efficient technical solutions. Your work will optimize our global network of chauffeurs, ensuring perfect experiences for our guests worldwide.Your ImpactArchitect and implement advanced features for our Go-based dispatching serviceTranslate operational requirements into robust, scalable technical solutionsOptimize data management across MySQL and PostgreSQL databasesEnhance our React-based back-office web app with intuitive UI componentsDevelop sophisticated backend optimization algorithms to streamline operationsContribute to a motivated, open-minded team focused on elevating travel experiencesRequirements5+ years of experience with two or more programming languages, particularly Go or RubyStrong background in HTTP protocols and REST API developmentProficiency in database management, especially SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud environmentsKnowledge of event-driven architecture and domain-driven designFamiliarity with React and modern web development paradigmsUnderstanding of continuous integration, test automation, and best coding practicesThe Ideal CandidateProactive problem-solver with a curiosity for new technologiesExperience in modeling business processes, data structures, and API designBackground in planning and optimization coding, with knowledge of statisticsCommitment to writing maintainable, high-quality codeEagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentMore than a Job:We are Blacklane, providers of premium global chauffeur services.
