The mission of the role is to assist the accounting department with basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks. These duties include reconciling bank records, data entry, updating the ledger, assisting with audits or fact‑checking, and preparing budgets and reports. Job Functions / Responsibilities Responsible for reconciling own local stores, posting invoices and making payments. Responsible for reconciling bank accounts on a timely basis. Responsible for assisting in the month‑end accounting process, reconciling transactions by comparing and correcting data, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with the closing procedures and accounting rules. Responsible for providing financial status information and preparing month‑end reports. Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures, complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements. Supervise initiatives designed to implement regulatory changes or safeguard existing accounting practices. Accomplishes accounting and organization targets as needed. Bank payments. Support accounting team for timely payment of customers, suppliers and personnel. Skills and Abilities Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
