By leveraging digital innovation and data‑driven solutions, we continuously improve operations and supply chain, ensuring value, scalability, and lasting impact for customers and partners.We are seeking a Director of Strategic Business Operations to partner closely with the CEO and executive team in driving organisational effectiveness, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives. The role will oversee the IT team, lead the implementation of critical tools and systems, and ensure cross‑functional alignment on high‑impact projects—including AI and digital transformation.ResponsibilitiesAct as a strategic partner to the CEO, ensuring organisational priorities and initiatives are executed effectively.Lead the IT function, managing team performance and overseeing new technology/tool roadmap.Responsible for ERP/finance platforms (SAP Business One or equivalent), ensuring seamless integration across finance, operations, and supply chain.Drive company‑wide process optimisation and operational excellence.Manage strategic projects, including AI pilots, digital tools, and process automation.Oversee risk management, including supply chain resilience, business continuity, and cybersecurity measures to safeguard company operations and data.Translate leadership vision into actionable roadmaps and track progress against key milestones.Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure alignment on strategic goals and resource allocation.Support change management, communication, and adoption of new systems and ways of working.Anticipate organisational challenges and proactively develop solutions.The Ideal Candidate Will HaveDemonstrated experience in project management, organisational design, or strategic operations.Process‑orientation: enjoys building and improving systems, workflows, and playbooks.Strong ability to drive complex, multi‑team initiatives to the finish line.Rigorous systems skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), G Suite, and ERP systems (SAP Business One is a plus).Experience with AI‑related projects (e.g., AI tools, AI database, automation, or digital transformation).Exposure to cybersecurity and information security practices, ensuring operational resilience and protection of business systems.Robust leadership and communication skills; ability to influence at all levels.Analytical, structured thinker with a bias toward execution.Education And Experience3+ years at a top consulting firm, plus 3+ years experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth company with exposure to scaling operations and processes.Master’s degree (MBA, MS Finance, MS Industrial & Systems Engineering, or equivalent) required.Fluency in English (oral and written); Spanish a plus.Work EnvironmentRemote work available but candidates must live near NSI’s office in Barcelona for in‑office or in‑person meetings.10‑15% of the position will involve visiting the NSI offices in the US for in‑person meetings or specific projects.Candidates must be flexible in regards to their schedule to accommodate working with an international team.NSI is an equal opportunity employer.
