Health, Safety & Environment (Construction)Full timeAbout the roleWe are seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. For the first 12 months, this role will primarily operate on an 8-days-on, 6-days-off FIFO roster, based in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. After the initial period, approximately 50% of the role will be site-based, with the remainder working from our Malaga office. Reporting to the National HSEQ Manager, you will leverage your construction experience across diverse projects to help us maintain and enhance our safety, sustainability and quality standards.Key responsibilities include:Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of HSEQ management standards, procedures, tools, and templates on-siteLead and participate in safety and incident investigationsEnsure compliance with High-Risk Work requirements and Critical Risk Management programsProvide accurate and high-quality HSEQ reporting per client and company requirementsConduct plant inspections, inductions, risk assessments, and review SWMSPerform routine site audits, inspections, and safety observations alongside operational personnelLiaise with stakeholders, clients, contractors, and workers on health and safety concerns and solutionsDeliver site inductions and communicate HSEQ updates via toolbox talks, pre-start meetings, and alertsEducate and support the team with specialist advice on relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.Skills and experienceTo be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates who can bring the following skills and experience to the role:Diploma in Work Health and SafetyLead Auditor qualification and experience conducting management system auditsICAM Investigator or equivalent certificationExperience developing and implementing management systems, processes, and proceduresHigh-level communication skills for liaising with clients, vendors, suppliers, and internal teamsProven experience on-site with high-risk construction activitiesA proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to hit the ground running.Employee BenefitsOur employees enjoy a range of benefits including:Training and development opportunitiesSalary sacrifice arrangementsSickness and accident InsurancePaid parental leaveEmployee assistance programRostered days offEmployee referral bonus.We recognise the importance of having a diverse workforce and encourage candidates from all backgrounds including First Nations People, current and emerging Australian Defence Force veterans, people with differing abilities and LGBTIQ+ to apply.
