Bend is the product we build to demonstrate what the protocol makes possible — to show that we can build a seamless payment experience that anyone can use, with web3 today.With both the Protocol and Bend, we continue to push the boundary of what crypto enables and just how powerful the user experience can be. We’re a team of 20 hell-bent on doing our very best work (individually and together), solving hard problems, staying optimistic, and believing money should be better.If these things excite you, now would be the time to join.As Head of Partnerships BD, you will:Grow our product and partner ecosystem through protocol launch and beyond.Be a face of the protocol and our Bend product, and an expert on both of them, to partners and customers throughout the web3 space.Develop the foundational components of our business development capability, including the development of team processes, the requisite tech stack, the goals for protocol and Bend, and more.Build relationships with relevant prospects and stakeholders to ensure that the business development pipeline is generating conversions for the protocol and Bend at a high pace.Develop a strong pipeline of partnerships for the protocol and Bend, driving growth with user activity, volume, and product development.Ensure rapid expansion into new markets that align with product and business goals and allow for a healthy, forward-looking growth of products.We’re looking for you if:You have previous successful experience (i.e., a company with a proven track record with success milestones related to product or acquisition) as a tech startup operator in a similar business development leadership role.You have a demonstrated track record of creative dealmaking, negotiating the most favorable terms aligned towards product and company goals, while iterating rapidly on improving future process with new partners.You have experience taking a BD function zero: one, as well as managing and scaling business development teams.You’re not done yet; you want to go back to early stage, with all the hustle that requires.You’re highly proficient with business development tech tools and other general digital organizational tools (e.g., Notion, Slack, etc.).Nice-to-haves:3+ years of experience in Web3 or high, provable passion for Web3.Web3 product strategy experience.Large social following, especially on Twitter and LinkedIn, or offset by an existing network of possible leads for us.Power user of Web3 products.Benefits of working here:Fully remote organization that allows you to work anywhere in the US, Canada, or North American time zones (other exceptions considered case-by-case).100% employer-sponsored medical, vision and dental coverage for you, your spouse and your dependents.Flexible vacation and work culture.Work-from-home stipend, monthly wellness allowance, and annual learning development allowance.401(k) plan with company match (if eligible based on residency).Regular co-working opportunities in different cities throughout the US.Compensation Package:Base salary + equity + token allocation.Location:Remote - US, Canada, LATAM.
