Nexthink es una compañía internacional compuesta por más de 700 personas de todo el mundo con una sola misión: dar superpoderes a los equipos de IT para mejorar la experiencia y la productividad de los empleados, teniendo equipos más eficientes y fiables. Han creado una plataforma en la nube que ayuda a las empresas a solucionar los problemas de sus equipos, automatizando respuestas y analizando los datos analíticos recogidos en tiempo real.

Para seguir creciendo están buscando una persona que asuma el rol de Head of Engineering for Spain en la oficina de Madrid para generar un impacto tanto en el equipo de ingeniería como en el producto.

El departamento de ingeniería de producto, formado por 200+ personas, está dividido en 5 grupos.

Como Head of Engineering for Spain, dispones de una posición muy estratégica dentro del organigrama de Nexthink y liderarás uno de estos grupos desde sus oficinas de Madrid, aunque puedas tener equipos distribuidos por las otras sedes de Nexthink como Lausanne y Bangalore.

Dentro de las responsabilidades del grupo están:

  • Product administration, configurando y gestionando toda la parte de autorizaciones y permisos de usuarios y funcionalidades.
  • Product configuration, centralizando y gestionando los settings de todos los productos.
  • Integrations, habilitando fuentes de datos desde y hacia otras aplicaciones.
  • Telemetry, facilitando datos de uso de nuestros productos.

Utilizan muchas tecnologías distintas dentro del grupo, entre ellas:

  • React para los componentes de UI.
  • Java, Kafka para el Backend.
  • Clickhouse para guardar los datos de los dispositivos.
  • AWS Aurora para guardar los datos de configuración del producto.

Actualmente, el reto en el que están embarcados es la reescritura del producto para convertir el producto OnPremise en una arquitectura multi-tenant en el cloud de AWS, usando Kafka y Clickhouse.

Además de con tu grupo, será muy importante la comunicación y colaboración con el resto de Group Leads. Al estar a cargo de unos de los componentes más críticos del ecosistema de desarrollo de productos, será fundamental conseguir borrar las distancias y diferencias horarias con los demás equipos.

Te harás una buena idea de dónde estás en Nexthink. Entenderás qué hace cada equipo del grupo, los productos que llevan, la funcionalidad de cada uno de ellos y la capacidad de cada equipo. Además, aprenderás cómo cada equipo se conecta con el resto de la organización, viendo las dependencias entre los equipos, los procesos,...

Liderarás el conjunto de equipos de ingeniería de Madrid, ayudando a los equipos a tomar las decisiones correctas y soportarás el crecimiento del centro de desarrollo de Madrid.

Reportarás a Pierre, Senior VP of Engineering, con el que tendrás un 1:1 cada semana. Además, tendrás una weekly meeting con el resto de directores.

Como Head of Product Engineering for Spain, tu presencia en la oficina de Madrid será esencial. Esperan que uses la oficina al menos 2 días a la semana.

Buscan un potente motor, con muchos centímetros cúbicos, que sea capaz de traccionar y liderar este grupo de ingeniería desde la oficina de Madrid, para ello será necesario que dispongas de las siguientes competencias:

  • Seniority en el liderazgo de equipos y puestos de responsabilidad.
  • Muy buen nivel de inglés, idealmente también en castellano y francés.
  • Fuertes conocimientos técnicos.
  • Autonomía y capacidad de iniciativa.
  • Energía, entusiasmo y capacidad de representar sus valores.

Sumarás puntos extra si has liderado y has hecho crecer la presencia local de una empresa de tecnología internacional.

  • Primera entrevista con Pierre.
  • Segunda fase: entrevista doble con el CTO y alguien de Producto.
  • Tercera fase: entrevista doble con Chief People Officer y CEO.
