Principal Technical Product Manager – TradingView We are seeking an experienced Principal Technical Product Manager to lead the development of platform services and internal tools that enable our product teams to build exceptional user experiences. You will define and drive the technical product strategy, ensuring technical excellence, scalability, and outstanding developer experience. In this role, you will balance new capabilities with technical health, working closely with engineering teams to build robust infrastructure that powers TradingView's growth.How You’ll Shape SuccessLead platform and services development aligned with company goalsDefine business goals for your technical domain (platform or services)Define platform and service roadmap aligned with company technical and product strategyEstablish and track platform metrics (reliability, performance, adoption, developer satisfaction)Conduct discovery with internal engineering teams and gather technical requirementsManage expectations of multiple dependent teams and communicate platform changes proactivelyPrioritize backlog across new capabilities, technical debt, performance, and securityCreate PRDs with detailed technical specifications, API design, and architecture considerationsCollaborate with Tech Leads on architectural decisionsWhat Makes You The Perfect Fit7+ years of product management experience with 5+ years focused on platform, infrastructure, or developer toolsProven track record of building scalable platform services and internal toolsStrong technical background with understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and software architectureExperience defining and maintaining SLOs, SLIs, and technical KPIsDeep understanding of developer experience and internal customer needsExcellent stakeholder management skills across engineering and product organizationsStrong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to prioritizationExperience with API design, versioning strategies, and platform migrationsStrong communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiencesBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fieldUnderstanding of financial markets and trading platforms preferredIt’ll also be an advantage ifYou have experience with finance and trading, or knowledge of the industry.You're already familiar with TradingView.
