The candidate should have deep experience in Public Affairs. In particular, strong knowledge about EU policy will be considered an advantage.In this role you will be part of a team of experts who advise a broad range of clients on how to navigate a plethora of public policy challenges. We help our clients create sustainable relationships with policy makers, interest groups, industry and the media.As a senior consultant, you will work on different client accounts, support in building new business opportunities and be involved in day-to-day support of operations.If you are looking to work in a dynamic and thriving team that crosses multiple issues shaping the political and regulatory landscape in Spain and the EU, then this is the position for you.What You’ll Do• Client Delivery: Track institutional and regulatory updates for client projects, oversee research and reporting, provide analysis on policy changes, and ensure the team advances client programs effectively.• Build the business: Help develop the team and contribute to wider marketing initiatives to positively position the firm and practice in the market.• Networking: Proactively network with contacts and stakeholders as well as potential clients.• Demonstrates a high level of integrity and asks the necessary questions to manage firm and client data responsibly.• Understands FTI’s values, Code of Ethics and the Strategic Communications Rules of Practice and demonstrates a strong commitment to applying these concepts in daily interactions with colleagues and clients.How You'll GrowFTI Consulting offers an intellectually stimulating and international work environment that will help you grow as a strategic communications advisor. As you progress through your career at FTI Consulting, we offer tailored programs for critical professional milestones to ensure you are prepared and empowered to take on your next role.What You Will Need to SucceedBasic Qualifications• Proven skills and interest in public affairs, advocacy, issues and reputation management across a broad range of issues.• Good understanding and experience of working with policymakers and stakeholders in Spain / Brussels to further strategic objectives.• Knowledge of the Spanish political and regulatory landscape and key discussions.• Experience in-house, in a trade body, in a public institution, or advising clients on policy and communications issues.• Strong research, analytical and writing skills with a focus on detail and delivery.• Good organisation and presentation skills with a keenness for client and project management.• Ability to digest and summarise information to key internal and external stakeholders.• Excellent English.• Great team spirit and determination.Our BenefitsOur goal is to support the well–being of you and your families—physically, emotionally, and financially.
