You will be working within multi-disciplinary teams to advance your knowledge, experience, and business impact.In this dynamic customer-facing role, you will have the opportunity to engage with industry-leading companies across the world to ensure technical and business success in the upfront simulation market.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead in execution of all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle such as technical discovery, product presentations, and evaluationsAs a product expert in Ansys Discovery, interact with customers to understand their product design and digital transformation initiatives; analyze how to address customers’ requirements and articulate Ansys’ value propositionPerform detailed technical evaluations and proof of concept demonstrations on our customers’ most complex engineering applicationsContribute to sales enablement and business development initiatives to drive significant impact to product revenueCollaborate with the Ansys product development teams to translate customer requirements into exciting new technical product featuresTest new releases of Ansys products on industrial problems and provide feedback to Ansys product development teamsPartner with Ansys field and product marketing teams to create exciting new content to drive lead generation and sales pipelineMinimum Education/Certification Requirements and ExperienceRequired education and degree type: BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace/Electrical/Material Science Engineering or related fieldRequired minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+ 3, MS+1 or PhD+0Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packagesSolid understanding of numerical methods used in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)Programming certifications in Python, C++, or similarKnowledge and practical experience with CAD-Embedded simulation toolsLogical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skillsFluent in writing and speaking EnglishExcellent organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgencyProjects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeedAbility to travel domestically up to 25% of timePreferred Qualifications and Skills2-3 years of professional experience in a related role, such as engineering analysis and FEA/CFD simulationProfessional experience, internships or university projects involving simulation, analysis, or software applications related to engineering (e.g. Formula Student, European Rocketry Challenge, etc.)Demonstrated skills in writing and presenting in fluent Spanish/FrenchINCLUSION IS AT OUR COREWe believe diverse thinking leads to better outcomes.
