The selected candidate will be part of a team of ten machine learning/data scientists and three machine learning engineers.Key responsibilities will include:Develop pseudo-realtime machine learning solutions to deal with challenging real-world problems on big dataDevelop ranking and recommendation algorithms to improve our customers’ experienceCollaborate in a cross-functional team, including machine learning scientists, software engineers, machine learning engineers, and project managersQualificationsA Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.At least 5 years of experience in the fieldExcellent knowledge of Supervised methods (Classification, Regression) and Unsupervised methods (Clustering, Feature Selection, Dimensionality Reduction)Experience in Reinforcement Learning (Multi-Armed Bandit, Markov Decision Process, and Q-learning)Excellent knowledge of Python and SQLKnowledge of the most important Python libraries for Machine Learning and Data Analysis (scikit-learn, Pandas, matplotlib, Numpy, Scipy, MLflow)Experience with distributed version control systems: mostly Git (Github and/or Bitbucket).Experience with Deep Learning (Recurrent Neural Networks, Convolutional Neural Networks, Transformer, and Autoencoders)Experience with Keras (and TensorFlow) or PyTorchAble to find creative solutions to interesting problemsCurious with a constant desire to learn and collaborateKnowledge of Spark is a plusAdditional InformationWhat we offerBy joining our company, you will have the chance to:Join a dynamic team in an inclusive-international environmentGrow thanks to the career journey and our internal mobility perspectiveManage your own schedule thanks to the flexible start and end of the working dayWork a shorter working week (36h), of which 4 hours on Friday morningGet focus time for learning, development, and deep work on Friday morningsWork partially remotely according to local lawsEnjoy continuous training thanks to our company platformBenefit from employee discounts on travelReceive 2 days off per year for the purpose of volunteeringReceive a voucher after some years in the companyGet free snacks/fruit / hot drinks/water/beverages at our officesBenefit from extended parental or marriage leave according to local lawsWelfare platform (Corporate Benefits) where you will find dedicated discounts with more than 1500 partners
