We are seeking a nurse with research experience to join the DM1-Heart project of the Neuromuscular Research Group of Barcelona (GRENBA) at the IGTP. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES The selected candidate will contact eligible patients for the DM1-Heart study through the Neuromuscular Clinic at Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital, explain the study procedures to potential participants, and obtain informed collaboration with the unit neurologists. The candidate will collect clinical data (including electrocardiograms), perform blood sample collection, and enter study data into Excel databases. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the prospective study and coordinating follow‑up visits for enrolled patients. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Proficiency in blood extraction and electrocardiogram (ECG) acquisition Experience working with patients and administering clinical scales At least 2 years of previous hospital experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel Previous participation in research projects will be considered an asset, especially those related to Steinert disease WHAT WE OFFER Part‑time: 12 hours/week Start date: 1st of January 2026 Gross annual remuneration, fixed based on experience and skills, distributed in 12 payments 23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters, 2 days for Easter, 2 days for Christmas Training capsules by the company Be part of an excellent multidisciplinary research centre with the HRS4R badge Location on the Can Ruti Campus, a first‑class translational research environment in the Barcelona area in a very stimulating scientific environment.
