Join to apply for the Application Specialist SAP role at JBT Marel About the Role You will work as a functional SAP FICO Consultant focused on Cost Controlling within JBT Marel’s Global SAP team. You are expected to bring experience in finance, SAP logistics, data migrations, analytics, sales and services, and work closely with finance and IT professionals to align and implement SAP Finance and Controlling globally. On a Daily Basis, You Will Gather business needs and requirements and translate these into functional designs; Develop, test, document, deliver and optimize SAP applications for ECC and S/4 HANA greenfield implementation; Demonstrate, provide training, guide testing activities and transfer knowledge to the community; When cross‑application processes arise, collaborate with other Application Specialists to create optimal solutions; Keep the business optimized and supported in its daily operations. Key Responsibilities You will work with a global team of finance and IT professionals to align and implement SAP Finance and Controlling. Experience with go‑live projects, tax rules and regulations, and knowledge of Vertex or Meridian is advantageous. Responsibilities include gathering financial business information, translating requirements into IT solutions, functional design, implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of the software, and participation in other projects and daily operations. As an IT professional, you should have experience in financial processes and SAP development through implementation or business finance/accountancy roles. A background in business controlling or accountancy and an understanding of international tax laws and regulations is essential. To Excel In This Role, You Should Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or an equivalent field; Have experience solving complex issues in SAP FICO with a focus on Cost Controlling, Product Costing, and settlement of IO/distribution cycles; Be experienced in SAFe and Scrum frameworks; Understand business processes and translate them into IT architecture; Be a strong communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills. Nice To Have Experience with related software solutions such as Vertex, Meridian, or Basware; An interest in S/4 HANA. What's in it for you?
