Overview At ING we are looking for a Senior VP-Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia with strong Payment and Cash management background to join our Transaction Services (TS) Team of Wholesale Banking Spain & Portugal. The team works with large corporates to offer TS solutions for the Bank: Payments & Cash Management (PCM), Liquidity Solutions/Bank Mendes Gans (BMG) and Trade (Trade Finance & Working Capital Solutions). Your Role and Work Environment We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior VP-Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia with a strong background in payments and treasury to join the ING TS team for Iberia (Spain & Portugal). Your Key Responsibilities As a Transaction Services Sales Cash Consultant Iberia, you will be responsible for growing the Daily Banking business and increasing profitability through origination of new TS mandates within the Wholesale Banking client portfolio in Spain and Portugal. You will own and manage prospect deals from initiation to mandate signing and sell the full suite of Cash solutions (PCM and Liquidity management/BMG) across the network. Additionally, the role includes the following: Positively contribute to origination and business development: generate new TS share of wallet deals with existing and new clients across sectors, locally and via ING’s network Deliver on revenue targets and client profitability within ING’s risk framework Collaborate with Local head of Transaction Services to define business strategy and commercial plan for Cash solutions in Iberia Collaborate with Local product management to set priorities for new product developments or enhancements and develop business cases Responsibilities and Activities Positively contribute to Origination and Business development Capture new TS opportunities with clients locally and through ING’s network Meet revenue and profitability targets within risk framework Contribute to strategy and commercial planning for Cash solutions in Iberia Coordinate with Local product management on prioritising developments and building business cases Ensure Transaction Execution Manage sizeable and complex cash mandates end-to-end from pre-lead, pitching, proposal to implementation Negotiate TS solutions and pricing with clients, balancing client expectations, cost of sales and risk Coordinate with TS Cash Advisory & Structuring Central team in Amsterdam for structuring and execution Monitor implementations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions and proper commercial documentation Customer Relationship Management Improve cross-buy of TS solutions Act as trusted advisor to prospects and clients, working with Bankers, TS Sales, Advisory & Structuring, Operations, Legal, Risk, and others Review client operations to maintain contracts and identify risks/opportunities Monitor daily banking services and provide proactive advice to enhance client experience and cross-sell Perform client profitability analysis to assess business trends Risk & Portfolio Management Monitor portfolio in coordination with risk management Work under KYC guidelines Knowledge Management Contribute to innovation and development of PCM product catalog Attend client events to position ING TS value proposition and stay informed on key trends Maintain high knowledge of industry and TS products, with focus on Cash products What are we looking for? Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Economics, Accounting or Finance preferred) At least 5 years of relevant Iberian experience in originating, negotiating and implementing Cash Management solutions Deep technical knowledge of PCM and Liquidity product catalog (Payments, Collections, Channels, Cash & Liquidity, Cash pooling) Knowledge of Trade products (Bank guarantees, Receivables, Supply Chain Finance) valued Excellent commercial skills and ability to originate TS opportunities Entrepreneurial spirit with client focus and delivery power Adaptability to different teams and situations Managerial courage to question and decide Strong internal/external communication Organizational sensitivity and ability to understand local and global dynamics Time and stakeholder management Data-driven and responsible Team player and ethical professionalism Willingness to learn in a changing global environment Excellent English and Spanish; Portuguese valued What do we offer?
