Runnymede College is a private non-denominational British school in Madrid offering a British education to boys and girls of all nationalities from the age of two to eighteen. The education offered follows the British National Curriculum.Founded as a private school in September 1967, the primary school was inaugurated in 1987, and since 1990, the whole School has been located in La Moraleja, in the north of Madrid. The School has been restructured and from September 2024 it will be divided into Pre-Prep (Pre Nursery to Year 3), Prep (Years 4 to 8) and Senior School (Years 9 to 13).We are an excellent and well established school based in Madrid looking to recruit an outstanding Nursery teaching assistant to join our Pre Prep School for a maternity cover role from 24th February 2025.Successful applicants must be native level English speakers and should have:Degree or NNEB certificate, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning & Development or Cache Level 3 Diploma in Childcare & Education or equivalenta commitment to Safeguardingknowledge of the EYFS curriculumknowledge of of teaching Phonics and Early Readingknowledge of early Mathematics with a mastery approachbe committed to providing stimulating and well-structured learning across all areas of the curriculuma passion for educationthe ability to work with individual children, groups or supporting the teacher within the classroomrelevant UK classroom experienceprevious experience in an international school - desired not essentialexcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively and seamlessly individually and as part of a teamto be confident in using technology effectively in teaching and learningPlease complete the online TES application and upload your CV and cover letter.Final date for applications- Friday 29th November 2024Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and first round interviews will take place via Zoom on a rolling basis.
