In line with the AXA Group’s Driving Progress 2023 strategy and ambition to develop an innovative, transversal solution to help us better serve our customers, AXA’s Management Committee recently announced a new strategic initiative - Digital Commercial Platform (DCP) – designed to transform AXA’s value proposition.


AXA DCP relies on creating an ecosystem of AXA’s risk insights, risk management, and risk prevention capabilities to enhance and support our service offering to commercial clients. Clients will be able to access a broad selection of data built on existing or developing AXA assets.


AXA DCP aims to:



Improve our underwriting pricing and claims capabilities across the commercial lines book of business of AXA Group
Create a platform for risk management and prevention services
Build an ecosystem of business partners



As the Solution Architect Principal of AXA DCP, you will be responsible for providing expertise & technical leadership and direction for the entire AXA DCP organization in a fast-paced environment.


You will be responsible for DCP’s cloud computing system to develop cloud adoption plans, determine the cloud application design, and create systems for managing, monitoring, and maintaining the cloud system of the DCP for Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), or Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions.


You will be a key member of the technical team and will play a critical role in the company's growth and success. You will report directly to the CTO of AXA DCP.




What will your essential responsibilities include?



Designing the cloud environment for DCP based on its requirements, utilizing emerging and best technologies to design the Architecture of the Platform and its components.
Evaluating, Designing and improving solutions while working with feature teams and the security team.
Collaborating with other technology team members to complete projects, bringing support for the engineering and development of AWS Cloud Architectures.
Designing with frugality and management of the cost of the proposal architecture designed.
Ensuring cloud solutions and operations are reliable, prioritizing the security of cloud computing solutions.
Align organizational Architecture strategy and infrastructure decisions with the CTO’s Strategy.






Identify architectural design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes.
Test security architecture in relationship with feature and developer teams.
Use current programming languages to write code, complete programming and perform testing.
Stay abreast of new technologies and trends in cloud computing.
Train users in implementation or conversion of systems.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:



Effective verbal and written communication skills to share insights with stakeholders of all levels.
Being a thought leader who creates and presents content using AWS.
Proven expertise in the AWS Cloud Architecture with several key AWS Certifications.
High-level collaboration skills to assist with various areas of cloud architecture management.
Project management skills to orchestrate cloud migrations and new system integrations.
Strong technical expertise and proficiency in popular programming languages.
Ability to integrate and automate an organization’s IT system processes.
Good knowledge of standards related to regulatory compliance risk management.
Master from engineering school or university equivalence.
Proven experience in building/designing user-facing software products and services.
Proven experience in a technical senior management role.
