OverviewAI EngineerCRIF, a prestigious and innovative international group specializing in informational solutions, decision models, outsourcing, software, and consulting services to support banks, financial companies, insurance companies, utilities, and telecommunications companies, is seeking an AI Engineer. The successful candidate will join our “Advanced Analytics Global” area, the centre of excellence at CRIF that combines expertise in Data Science, Data Engineering, and Generative AI.ProfilePhD or Master’s Degree in statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, quantitative economics, econometrics or a similar quantitative field.1 year of experience in Data Science / AI fieldsProblem-solving skills and teamwork capabilitiesGood communication skillsKnowledge of major trends and technologies in AI / GenAIHard SkillsExcellent knowledge of Python and ML / DL librariesDeep understanding of the fundamentals of statistics and machine learning (sampling theory, inference and interpretation, model validation, regression and classification techniques, etc.)Familiarity with LLM post-training stages (e.g. SFT, RL, distillation) and evaluation methodsFamiliarity with embedding models (e.g. bi-encoder / cross-encoder) and their finetuningExperience with agent protocols (e.g. MCP, A2A, ACP) and agentic design patternsExperience with synthetic data generation approaches for the evaluation of AI SystemsFamiliarity with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant, …) and integration with AI systems, for example RAGExperience working with one of the major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)Knowledge of MLOps and microservices architecturesNice to haveKnowledge of AI security and safety risks, and effective mitigation strategiesExperience with one of the major agent frameworks (e.g., AutoGen, CrewAI, smolagents, ...)Contributions in Open Source projects related to AIResearch and publications in the AI fieldLocationMilan or BolognaWhy CRIFWe offer a safe and inclusive environment where colleagues are encouraged to think outside the box.CRIF is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive work environment and promoting equal opportunities during the employee life cycle.We aim to attract and retain the best people and embracing gender, age, culture, religion and disability diversity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
