HP's Large Format Printing Finance team is seeking a strong analyst to provide financial guidance, scenario modelling/analysis and support to the Large Format Division, supporting the New Product Introductions.The New Product Introductions Senior Financial Analyst is a key role responsible for partnering with various organizations and teams to drive capital strategies that support operational activities and strategic investment decisions, with a clear focus to secure the greatest return on investment for the Division and the Company.In this dynamic and visible role, you will work with other cross-functional stakeholders in the Global Business Units and Regions, while also collaborating on projects that affect the organization’s long-term goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will work independently and excel at collaborating with employees at all levels of the organization. The analyst should also be a strong collaborator who can partner with and present to different organizations – Future Product Marketing, R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Support, Region Category.Responsibilities:Drive financial leadership and business decisions for the Large Format Core category to meet revenue, gross margin, share and operating profit objectives. Develop insights and recommendations to share with the team.Build foundational core financial processes for Large Format Core business to enable profitable growth.NPI Finance Support: Partner with program and product management teams to drive data-driven, highly accurate assumptions for analysis. Provide initial financial and business model consultation for new products.Provide insights in supporting a gradual shift from traditional business monetization to alternative ways to unlock services and software market opportunities.Critical financial and business model thinking & analysis to help drive brand new products from idea phase to market quickly.Build financial models that provide insights into the margin profile of the current portfolio with detailed analysis of cost structure.Partner with other organizations to create integrated product performance views.Develop various reports including profitability by business, region, and product segment and aid in using these reports to drive improvements in the business. These reports are done on a quarterly basis to closely monitor the business results and should include variance analysis.Strong communication and presentation skills are a must as this role will work with various levels of management, both in finance and the business, and must be able to clearly relay results of analytical projects as well as monthly and quarterly results.Skills required include strong Excel and PowerPoint knowledge with the aptitude to extract information from existing business and financial systems.Education & Experience RecommendedFour-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or a related field.Preferred CertificationsCertified Public Accountant (CPA)Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)Knowledge & SkillsAccountingAuditingAutomationCorporate FinanceData AnalysisEconomicsFinanceFinancial AnalysisFinancial ModelingFinancial PlanningFinancial ServicesFinancial StatementsGenerally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesInternal ControlsInvestmentsKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Process ImprovementProfit And Loss (P&L) ManagementSAP ApplicationsVariance AnalysisCross-Org SkillsEffective CommunicationResults OrientationLearning AgilityDigital FluencyCustomer CentricityImpact & ScopeImpacts large functions and leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects.ComplexityProvides highly innovative solutions to complex problems within established policy.Legal entity: Sales & ServicesThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
