Graduate Procurement Engineer

Our goal is to bring components with the best quality and cost to deliver the best value to our customers while making a positive impact on our communities and environment.Main ResponsibilitiesWork with R&D and Engineering teams to industrialize and optimize the new components or modifications of existing ones in terms of Cost, Quality, Sustainability, Manufacturability, Resilience and Lead Time, and industrialize them through the right suppliers.Make sure that the Part Quality Control Plan is defined for each part, and it is properly implemented, through periodical Quality System and Process Audits.Lead the effort to meet the sustainability targets related to Mechanical Technologies.Build market technology and cost intelligence at part/subsystem/function level, identifying the possible suppliers and supply chains.Partner with Manufacturing Partners and Operations Teams to ensure the production lines receive parts on time with the best quality and cost.Strong focus on cost control, cost reduction, and cost avoidance techniques.Grow a strong partner relationship by building personal empathy and through proactive and fair interactions with the different stakeholders in and out of HP.Create commodity strategies and technical processes development roadmaps to meet the business targets.Protect HP’s business interests.What are we looking for?Recent Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Industrial, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or Chemical Engineering and related fields.Work experience is not required, but appropriate internships related to the job content would be a plus.Solid knowledge in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Programming skills in Python, C++ or a similar language will be highly valued.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Able to work from our Sant Cugat del Valles office (with Flexible schedule).Fluent in English.Strong communication and presentation skills: advanced communication skills, both written and verbal.Proactive, curious, and dynamic personality: Capacity and eagerness to learn new things and be in different environments and workforces.Solid adaptability and change management skillsWhat we offer:Opportunity to work in an international organization with colleagues coming from all over the world.Diverse, continued internal growth and career opportunities, including HP’s own learning platform and LinkedIn Learning.An attractive benefits package:Health & Life insuranceLunch at reduced prices at our canteen/ticket restaurant vouchersHP product discountWork-life balance / flexible working hours.Women, Pride, Young employees, Sustainability and DisAbility Just a few of our fantastic global business networks you can get involved with locally.We also dedicate time and resources to contribute to our community through Corporate Volunteering activities, including our onsite HP Charity day.Do you like to give back to the community?
