You’ll use strategic thinking to define and implement an efficient project plan. Some managers are based on-site while others work remotely, depending on the most suitable option for their team and tasks.Senior Program Managers have significant responsibilities, and you’ll deal with complex challenges with creativity, innovation, and leadership. With a responsibility extending beyond process improvements, you could also contribute to improving other areas of the business, like diversity, equity, and inclusion.About the teamThe Amazon SCOT organization is expanding our Direct Fulfillment (DF) team. The Direct Fulfillment channel allows Amazon to fulfill customer orders directly from our vendor’s warehouse, and is one of the fastest growing supply channels at Amazon. Through Direct Fulfillment (a.k.a dropship), our team enables broad in-stock selection for Amazon’s customers, at the quality and speed of delivery they have come to expect.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipExperience in program or project managementExperience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environmentExperience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related fieldExperience leading process improvementsAmazon is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority / Women / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / Age.
