Our client is an AI-driven customer service software start-up with an innovative platform. Initially focusing on the iGaming sector, they leverage this niche for research and development, aiming to expand into multi-sector product solutions. Their vision is to address the unique needs of businesses in the online support service industry. By joining, you'll play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the customer service sector.

Role Overview:

As a Python Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to develop services that integrate AI solutions, such as large language models (LLMs), into our infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy AI-driven services, building and evaluating solutions that effectively integrate AI models into our infrastructure.

  • Design, implement, and sustain services utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs) to improve customer service processes and efficiency.

  • Design and conduct experiments to assess the performance and effectiveness of different AI solutions.

  • Work closely with various departments to understand business requirements and translate them into AI solutions that enhance customer service.

  • Offer technical support and guidance to team members on AI-related projects, including data engineering, algorithm selection, deep learning engineering, and natural language processing.

  • Continuously monitor the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing to enhance our AI capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years working with Python 3, including personal projects.

  • Python Proficiency, strong grasp of syntax, data structures, standard libraries, and object-oriented programming (OOP).

  • Intermediate knowledge of functional programming paradigms.

  • Familiarity with Python's asyncio library and async/await syntax.

  • Proficiency in statically typed Python, including the use of type hints and annotations.

  • Experience with tools like mypy, flake8, and other static analysis utilities.

  • Competence in writing unit and integration tests, with familiarity in the pytest framework.

  • Proficiency with Git, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.

  • Understanding of RESTful API principles and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the OpenAI API.

  • Familiarity with GitLab, AWS, or Pulumi.

  • Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines CI/CD.

  • Knowledge of Docker fundamentals and Docker Compose.
