Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content LinkSelect how often (in days) to receive an alert:Data Architect117384Our opportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Architect to join our international Data and Business Intelligence organization.In this role, you will be responsible for designing and technically leading new and enhancing existing data applications, making sure they run in a robust and performant manner. Solutions will be designed for both local and global customers, working mostly with cloud-based solutions in both AWS and Azure.You will proactively expand your expertise in both existing and new functionalities, along with best practices in the data and BI space, applying these learnings in your daily job.Your roleAs a Data Architect, your main responsibilities will involve:Participate in architecture communities and architecture governance.Create solution designs and estimates for complex data, AI, and BI proposals.Data modelling and data layer design.Follow up on proposals with detailed designs and technically leading in implementations.Contribute to blueprint / architecture pattern creation to enhance re-usability.Work with an international team, engaging with different stakeholders and IT colleagues from different cultures, producing results that work according to standards and best practices.Applying constant learning, supporting both innovative and high-quality solutions.Writing technical documentation such as architecture specification.Hands-on contributions to experiments with new technologies.Your Skills and ExperienceAs a Data Solution Architect, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:University level education or equivalent.Experience architecting data solutions.Experience with machine learning and AI solutions.Data modelling experience with techniques such as 3rd normal form, data vault and dimensional modelling.Experience with data pipeline tools, especially one or more of Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS Glue.Database and lake experience with one or more of Azure SQL, DB2, Azure Data Lake, Databricks lakehouse, Snowflake, AWS RDS or similar.Knowledge of CI/CD.Knowledge of Infrastructure as code solutions such as Terraform is an advantage.Knowledge of containers and container orchestration such as K8 is an advantage.Knowledge of APIs is an advantage.Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI is an advantage.Knowledge of languages such as Python, Scala, and SQL is an advantage.Having experience in insurance is an advantage.Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Proactivity is a must.Excellent English and communication skills.Flexibility to take on new challenges, including architecting with new technologies.Additional Benefits:Option to work remotely within Spain even up to 100% - you choose; with option to work abroad up to 25 days yearly.Over 300 euros to set up your home office and additional monthly home office allowance.Wide range of internal and external trainings, including free English, German, and Spanish classes depending on the needs.Ticket restaurant or flexibility to exchange it for other benefits.Life, accident, and Health Insurance.Collective Life Retirement Plan.2000 referral bonus if you bring other talented people like you.Special banking and insurance conditions plus Exclusive Employees discounts.Functional diversity benefits.Events: summer and Christmas party, different activities like hiking, investment, beach volley club, and many more.No dress code.#LI-HybridPrimary work location is Barcelona, Poblenou.
