Job Purpose

Straumann Group is a global leader in dental implants and orthodontic solutions, and we are looking for a talented front-end software developer to join our team. As part of a growing team of specialists, you will be part of a team of engineers developing software tools for dental professionals and patients, including dentists, surgeons, and dental technicians.
As a Software Business Analyst, you will define, modify and review functional and non-functional specifications/requirements and will dig into the analysis tasks alongside the development team and dental professional stakeholders (e.g. dentists, surgeons, dental technicians) as well as consumers to provide fully detailed technical documentation.
As part of a growing team of specialists, working for a world market leader in dental technology, you will be responsible for managing SCRUM ceremonies (grooming, specifications, etc). You will be part of an agile team that values collaboration and creativity, and you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment for a product-based company.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Software Business Analyst you will:

Define and review specifications and requirements, documentation.
Document, challenge and clarify PMs requirements.
Interact with medical professionals to better understand requirements and collect feedback on software products developed.
Ensure alignment between business needs, UX designs and technical specs.
Manage the development team.
Assist the PM in acceptance tests.
Test product backlog items in integration env. and dev.
Protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions.
Find opportunities for collaboration across international teams, work on cross-team commitments, and achieve scale by enabling the work of others.
Help Center: Engage with product stakeholders to ensure up-to-date self-help content.
Gather, analyse, and document product and business requirements.
Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize user stories and backlog items.

Requirements
Education

Higher education in software engineering, computer science or a comparable field (e.g. medical informatics, healthcare electronics).

Experience

Software developer with experience in design, coding, debugging.
Experience as a teamwork and communication leader.
4+ years of experience shipping commercial software in a role as BA or product manager.
Real-world experience in SCRUM.
Analysis of software requirements and definition of software tasks.
Alignment between business needs, UX designs and technical specs.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
Experience with Atlassian Confluence.

Desirable

Development skills such as backend and front-end frameworks (Spring, TypeScript, React JS).
Experience with healthcare software.
Knowledge in FHIR standards.
Professional fluency in English.
