As an SPX Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving financial insights and supporting management decisions, particularly in the areas of technology and policy solutions that directly impact business planning, operational expenses, and strategic investments across the SPX organization. Key Job Responsibilities Review and prepare financial analysis for program opportunities Conduct regular inspections of business performance, analyzing key metrics and identifying opportunities for optimization Deep dives on business inputs to perform variance analysis, identify product gaps and opportunities Collaborate effectively with product and operations leaders to achieve financial goals and drive success Deliver insightful recommendations to business partners, encompassing cost‑saving measures and process enhancements Evaluate new projects and assess existing initiatives to provide well‑informed go/no‑go recommendations Stack rank projects for investments to optimize support for Amazon selling partners and help Amazon maximize free cash flow A Day in the Life In this unique role, you will be the direct finance partner supporting BEE. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing robust processes and governance frameworks, ensuring seamless financial integration and support as we achieve our collective business objectives. A successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to deliver results in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment as an analytical problem solver. You will engage in a diverse range of activities, including monthly reporting, data deep dives, program management, ad hoc assessments, and strategic planning. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science) 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience Preferred Qualifications MBA, or CPA 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience Knowledge of Tableau Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) Amazon is an equal‑opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market.
