We're pioneering the next wave of combat-proven defense innovations and breakthrough propulsion systems combining turbojet and ramjet technologies for future hypersonic vehicles.As Chief Accountant, the main emphasis is on tax compliance and reporting, as well as establishing the reporting workflow at the enterprise. We are looking for highly qualified chief accountants with experience at companies with foreign trade activities and production.TasksAccounting and ReportingRegular bookkeeping and preparation of monthly financial statementsPreparation of monthly bank reconciliationsSupport in the preparation of consolidated financials in IFRSPreparation and review of tax returns (mainly VAT and income tax) and support to other specialized tax areasPreparation of Annual Accounts and Official BooksSupport in external and internal auditsPreparation of various financial and tax reports for managementAssistance in developing high-level cost optimization within Production and Financial departmentsMeasure, interpret and propose actions to engineering teams regarding production costs. Follow-up regularly (including producing cost evolution updates)ComplianceEnsure compliance with Company Guidance and Policies, internal and external regulationsPropose and design new local controlsRequirements:University's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or similarIdeally 4 years of experience at Accounting & Tax firms or consulting companiesExcellent knowledge of Spanish GAAP & Tax compliance; knowledge about US GAAP/IFRS would be considered a plusExcellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English and SpanishProficiency in MS Office package, along with experience of local accounting ERPs (e.g. MS Dynamic)Knowledge of Finance-related software (Monday, Coupa, Navan or similar)Excellent organization skills and adaptability to a high multitasking environmentAbility to be self-motivatedStrong analytical skills - Understand what is going on in the business analyzing different data to take the right decisionTeam player - Work effectively with othersDynamism, proactivity and a strong spirit of initiativeWell organized with attention to detailUsed to work in multinational environments
