Social network you want to login/join with:Our client, a a global leader automotive company, is looking for a procurement engineer to join it's organization and be part of a successfull project based in Vallés area.Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier selection: Search and evaluation of an appropriate panel of suppliers to meet profitability, quality, and lead time targets.Supplier management & benchmarking: Supervision of supplier performance and comparative analysis to identify improvement opportunities.Cost analysis and RFQ: Requesting quotations and performing detailed cost analysis.Technological innovation: Researching new technologies and alternative manufacturing methods to stay competitive.Cost reduction projects: Identifying and implementing initiatives to optimize costs.Audits and quality development: Participating in customer audits and supplier quality development, including APQP, PPAP, and process audits.Supplier management in serial phase: Monitoring performance, developing continuous improvement plans, and managing non-conformities through 8D reports and audits.Project leadership (PPL): Coordinating purchasing activities in assigned projects, tracking APQP milestones, and ensuring efficient communication with the Project Management team and the Global Technical Procurement Manager (requires 3+ years of experience in the development phase).Previous Experience and QualificationsIndustrial Engineering degree or similarAdvanced level of EnglishExperience in SQA and/or Purchase EngineeringCore Tools: knowledge APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA, MSA #J-18808-Ljbffr
