The main missions of the Manufacturing Project Management Leader are: Manages the manufacturing engineering scope in a project Provides smart, simple, creative and robust solutions to make the project profitable Ensures cross-functional management of the extended team Ensures lessons learned ACTIVITIES Project Management Defines initial Statement of Work of manufacturing perimeter including extended team, regarding project perimeter, development budget (hours, hourly rate, travel cost) and Optimap Work Packages Defines and sets up the project planning Manages the manufacturing project reviews, consolidates actions and provides reporting and action plans Participates to design reviews and QUAD reviews Ensures that Launch Readiness (led by the Launch Manager) is well organized Manufacturing Works regarding to HSE requirements Can be involved in upstream phases of the project (expertise phase, acquisition phase) Depending on project size, will take into account activities of the extended team According to project deliverable steps, defines global industrial scenario, including production process (paint, assembly) and supply chain (packaging, physical and information flows) Is accountable for the use of OPmobility Manufacturing standards in a lean manufacturing approach Gives design for manufacturing requirements to product design and ensures integration Makes sure with the plant that its capacity aligns with project volumes Is responsible for the industrialization phase in production plant and SILs, leading manufacturing means after transfer in plant Manages project Manufacturing economical perimeter (cycle time, number of operators, investments, and supply chain costs). Tracks perimeter changes due to customer and reports to the PM Makes sure industrial performance is best in class (eliminating non-value-added activities) Budget Management Determines the project provisional budget (hours and cost) Allocates the budget to the extended team & ensures resource availability with the manager Determines internal and external perimeter regarding SOW Tracks perimeter changes due to customer or internal factors and reports to the PM; proposes adjustments linked to perimeter evolution during project life Monitors project budget and raises warnings to PM and métiers managers in case of gaps Contributes to investment optimization Continuous Improvements Participates in continuous improvements for job, organizations and methodology Participates in capitalization and productivity actions Participates in definition and realization of progress plans At project end, contributes to closure and shares feedback on best practices and difficulties Depending on project size, may handle some activities of the extended team Competences Requirements Bachelor’s with experience or Master’s degree in Engineering Previous experience in manufacturing development and/or activities for automotive industry or as Senior assembly engineer or plant engineer Leadership, ability to synthesize, organized, rigorous, good communication, English, project management skills Good command of English As a responsible company, OPmobility pays particular attention to diversity and equality within its teams and the Group commits to treat all job applications equally.
