They implement processes, ensure helpful services for customers, and perform the primary tasks of the organisation.RoleSettlements Operations Analyst | MadridOperations carries out the designated day-to-day tasks to ensure the business operates efficiently and effectively. Focusing on Payments and Reconciliations, the Settlements Operations Analyst ensures the company mitigates financial risk and provides a valued service to its clients.Key Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesLiaise with Clients, Brokers and Banks to facilitate settlement of FX transactions and cash flowsAccount reconciliation and remediationInward/Outward payment entryPayment verification, approval and releasePayment error investigation and resolutionUndertaking Safeguarding and CASP daily requirementsPreparation of monthly account financial reconciliation reportsPreparation of monthly regulatory reports to Bank of Spain and CNMVKey Skills & Experience RequiredExperience in international payments is requiredExperience in customer service is advantageousAbility to anticipate issues and risks, and mitigate accordinglyAble to demonstrate credibility in dealing with clients and colleagues across a complex organization with different cultures and geographiesExperience ensuring and maintaining the standard of all documentation for their department’s systems, controls, policies and processesDemonstrate professional acumen, integrity, collaboration, resilience and trustworthinessStrong interpersonal, client relationship, influencing and communication skillsAssertiveness with the ability to influence others in a constructive wayStrong judgment and problem-solving skillsMiFID II certification is desirableSystems / Knowledge SkillsMS Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPointHR Systems – WorkdaySQL Knowledge is desirableDatabases – FXDB (In House)Client Portals – Monex PayBanking Portals – Barclays.net, etc.Local regulators portalsLanguagesHigh standard of oral & written Spanish and English is mandatoryFluency in other European languages (e.g. Dutch, French, Luxembourgish etc.) is desirableIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with usSeniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr
