As a Windows System Engineer you will contribute to the success of SIX and BME IT. You will be part of our IT engineering team with a seniority role inspiring employees and customers by using modern and agile working methods.
What You Will Do:
- selecting the best possible solutions using knowledge of a wide range of available technologies
- implementing best practices for system security (vulnerability management)
- anticipating potential issues or bottlenecks and identifying possible solutions
- troubleshooting and resolving all technical issues when they arise
- working with Business Applications, vendors, consultants, contractors, and IT personnel from other areas
- bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, technical engineer or related fields
- knowledge about creating scripts (e.g. using PowerShell) and setting up software for automation
- experience on installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows-based systems, and Linux, will be valuable too
- interest in automation technologies like Ansible, Gitlab CI and familiarity with administration, performance tuning, and system monitoring (Patrol, Centreon, Xymon)
- good communication skills, team-minded, committed, fast-learner and communicative personality
- excellent communication skills in English to interact with your colleagues in other countries
