From the Pharma division at Robert Walters Barcelona, we are seeking a Field Service Engineer for a specialized technical and scientific laboratory equipment provider in the Madrid area.Responsibilities:Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.Develop methods and provide application support to clients.Diagnose and repair technical service cases.Offer application support to clients.Manage communication with suppliers regarding incidents or technical or application-related questions.Carry out equipment installations alongside the Application Manager and/or the local sales representative, and provide theoretical and practical training on equipment usability.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.Contribute to achieving qualitative and quantitative service objectives.Join the sales team on client visits to conduct equipment demonstrations.Ensure the proper management of demonstration equipment.Perform quality control of equipment to be installed and test it in the lab/workshop.Knowledge and Skills:University degree in Engineering.Experience as a Field Service Engineer, even in different sectors, is valued.Experience in laboratories within the pharmaceutical, environmental, petrochemical, food, university, and/or research center sectors is a plus.Experience in maintenance support, repair, and/or support roles is valued.Dynamic individual with a high level of autonomy, perseverance, teamwork abilities, flexibility, and adaptability.Advanced English.Strong communication and presentation skills for interacting with both external clients and internal stakeholders.Ability to effectively train clients.Creative thinker with problem-solving skills for complex cases.Additional Requirements:Valid driver’s license (Category B).Availability to travel approximately 50% of the time.
