PTP Subject Matter ExpertApply locations British Overheads time type Full time posted on Posted 6 Days Ago job requisition id JR000264The OpportunityA new opportunity has become available within our expanding Finance Team, supporting business by building and documenting procedures across finance administration streams, primarily PTP.You will develop a good understanding of the business process and support the business in its adoption of process management as part of embedding and developing the process framework.In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities, you will provide regular support to a broad range of work including analysing business controls and their effectiveness in the new ways of working post project symphony, agreeing mitigating actions and reporting findings to the company head of Finance administration.Key BenefitsHealth cash plan (covering dental, physio and optical services) with 24/7 Private GPLife Assurance 3 x salary.33 days’ annual leave (including Bank Holidays) rising to 38 with length of service.An additional ‘Day for You’, a paid day’s leave for you to use as you wish.Access to 24-hour counselling by phone or in person should you feel you need support.Internal CPD and access to Clinical Communities.Funded certificate opportunities.Pension scheme.Cycle to Work scheme.Discounts on Medivet products and services for your pets.Role AccountabilitiesAssist with documentation of processes: process flows, QRG (quick reference guide), SOPs, walkthroughs, and standard business templates.Support the development of the business process, driving adoption, providing support of the process implementation, and collaborating closely with local teams across the business to drive their understanding and application of the processes.Assist these teams in multiple forms such as onboarding and training colleagues to use and adapt process tools.Provide ongoing technical support with their process mapping activities and drive understanding of and adherence to the process as part of these activities.Provide support within the finance department (PTP) and internal stakeholders with a clear communication of processes both pre and post go-live of new ERP/Financial system.Maintain effective communication and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Your Skills & ExperienceExperience in process mapping and process tooling (essential)Basic experience in a strong control working environment SOX and/or SOP requirements.Ease of adoption of new tools, platforms, and technology in support of process excellence and ability to digest complex business processes involving multiple stakeholder groups.Become the super-user of our business processes and materials, supporting the onboarding of colleagues to the structure, standards, and hierarchy of our process architecture to ensure consistency across the business.Confidence in providing demos and training on the processes and materials to groups of colleagues from all parts of the business.Strong technological system skills and computer literacy (MS Office Suite)Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision and initiative-taking in dealing with issues.Hands-on/can-do attitude, enthusiastic collaborator.About UsMedivet is a leading veterinary care provider, with practices across the UK including a number of 24-hour veterinary centres and referral centres.
