Our opportunityWould you like to start your professional career in a multinational environment?If you’re someone who wants to influence your own development, if you are passionate about data and analytics, someone that wants to be part of a young and motivated team and help us make a difference, this is your program We are seeking recent graduates, who are interested in developing their professional career in one of the world’s leading insurance groups through a personalized training and development program.The Data Analytics Trainee Program offers you the experience to learn within an international environment providing you support, mentoring and development opportunities in new projects.Your roleIn this 2-year trainee program, you will be part of the Reporting and Analytics Team within Group Investment Management and perform the following duties:Design and implement solutions based on data & analytics in Investment ManagementEnable the business to draw actionable insights out of complex data setsTranslate reporting requirements into business intelligence solutionsYour role will involve building relationships with:Stakeholders on local, regional and group levelsInvestment back-office and middle-office teamsMarket and Master Data teamsIT teamsYour Skills And ExperienceAs a Data Analytics Trainee your education and personal skills will ideally include:Education skills:Bachelor or Master´s degree in either Finance, Economics, Information Technology and/or quantitative fields such as Statistics and Math with good academic recordFluent in written and spoken English (Spanish is a plus)Technical skills:Experience with data engineering and analysisExperience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau or Qlik) would be considered an assetPractical experience with data analysisStrong coding skills (preferably Python, Spark)Proven analytical and problem-solving skillsDatabricks knowledge is a plusSkills in Microsoft tools is a plusPersonal skills:Ability to work with multi-cultural project teams and facilitating workshops with stakeholdersExcellent communication and presentation skillsCreative thinking and intellectual curiosityThe following areas of knowledge would be very helpful to a candidate to successfully fulfil this role:Strong knowledge of data analytics including data transformation, modelling, and visualizationBusiness Analyst skills (e.g., requirement engineering, design thinking)Understanding of financial products, financial markets as well as the main accounting principlesWhat we offer?As well as a competitive salary and a yearly bonus we offer:Option to work remotely within Spain even up to 80%Over 300 euros to set up your home office and additional monthly home office allowanceWide range of internal and external trainings, including free English and Spanish classes depending on the needsTicket restaurantLife, accident, and Health InsuranceCollective Life Retirement Plan2000 referral bonus if you bring other talented people like youSpecial banking and insurance conditions plus Exclusive Employees discountsFunctional diversity benefitsNo dress codePrimary work location is Barcelona.
