OverviewAderen People is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst. This is a freelance full-time position, based in Barcelona with hybrid work (1 day in office per week, the rest remote). Language requirements include Spanish and English. Contract: freelance full-time; project length: 6 months with potential extension up to 12 months.
Salary
240–280€ per day + VAT, depending on experience. Job Opening ID 2371ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage cybersecurity incidents. Detect, analyze and respond to threats and vulnerabilities. Implement and maintain security controls in IT infrastructures.
Operate and provide support for security tools (SIEM, firewalls, EDR, IDS/IPS). Perform risk analyses and periodic security assessments. Collaborate in internal and external security audits. Document procedures, incidents and best practices.
Required Knowledge & Experience4 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles. Solid knowledge of network and system security. Solid knowledge of vulnerability management. Solid knowledge of incident response.
Solid knowledge of security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, ENS).
Experience
with SIEM tools and perimeter and endpoint security solutions. Analytical capability, autonomy and a focus on continuous improvement. Valuable ExperiencePrior experience in large-scale corporate environments. Currently or previously interviewed with companies in the retail sector.
Catalan: professional or conversational level. Immediate availability or short-term availability. EducationUniversity degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity or related field. Cybersecurity certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP).
