OverviewLiveOps Tooling - Senior QA Analyst for Monopoly GO – Barcelona, Spain (hybrid).Scopely is looking for a Senior QA Analyst to join the Monopoly Go team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis.Monopoly GO is a key Scopely title with a global player base. The team is based in Europe and the US and works daily to create engaging experiences for players.What You Will DoReporting into the Vertical Group QA Manager, you will support the quality efforts for our Live Operations Tooling team working on MonopolyGoYou will collaborate with fellow QA Analysts to facilitate LiveOps Tooling enhancements from concept to post-release maintenance. You will apply a range of tools and methodologies to ensure the highest standards of quality are consistently met.As a key contributor to Scopely's quality culture, you will help shape how we iterate to success and evolve our ways of working.Ensure your pod’s contributions to each release meet high quality standards, focusing on defect prevention and overall user experience, while maintaining a broad view of release quality across the wider teamDevelop clear and comprehensive test plans for LiveOps Tooling defining scope, time estimates, resourcing, tooling/cheat needs, and requirements to test from concept to releaseDrive the creation, upkeep, and execution of test suites and cases tailored to your pod’s needs and evolving scopeMaintain a clean and prioritized bug database aligned with your pod’s workLead onboarding of external embedded QA resources into your pod, ensuring setup for success and alignment with internal processesTake ownership of your pod’s quality output by leading through example, performing hands-on testing, and ensuring accountabilityRaise pre-production quality concerns by reviewing briefs and design documents, championing a shift-left approachDevelop and maintain understanding of MonopolyGo’s core mechanics to support the broader Game QA team as neededCollaborate with the LiveOps team to investigate live issues, advocate for timely resolutions, and address root causes to prevent recurrenceAdhere to QA governance and best practices, aligning with the project lifecycle from inception through post-release supportParticipate in pod and QA ceremonies, provide feedback, and align with team strategiesCollaborate with developers to understand scope changes and assess cross-functional impacts on qualityContribute to annual reviews by giving feedback and pursuing professional growthModel Scopely’s core tenets through actions, communication, and leadershipWork with QA Leadership to standardise processes and provide feedback for improvementsSupport QA Leadership in achieving team goals through ownership and tracking of KPIs/OKRsWhat We’re Looking ForExperience in LiveOps for mobile or other gamesStrong written and verbal communication and attention to detailExcellent time management, accountability, and organizational skillsAbility to negotiate and ensure clear messaging with a sound business understandingProactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivatedFlexible for an agile setup with ability to multitask across multiple high-profile releasesStrong commercial awareness and understanding of business prioritiesExceptional reporting capabilitiesExtensive knowledge of JIRA or similar bug tracking systemsMobile exposure and understanding of Apple/Google submission protocolUnderstanding of the gaming industry and end-to-end development lifecycleAt Scopely, we create games for everyone and are committed to a diverse, supportive work environment where everyone is treated with respect.
