About OXON Epidemiology OXON Epidemiology is a niche, late‑phase international Contract Research Organisation (CRO) with Operations centred in our Madrid office, and home‑based staff in the UK and USA. Our work involves hybrid field‑database studies, pragmatic trials and other multi‑country observational studies across numerous therapeutic indications. Key Elements of What OXON Provides Close involvement with world‑class science (epidemiologists, statisticians, and an eminent Professor of Medical Statistics who visits Madrid monthly). Involvement in all aspects of field studies and secondary data studies: proposal, bid defence, protocol, SAP, eCRF development, PV, analyses, reports, manuscripts. Deeper involvement in fewer studies, allowing you to implement ideas and make improvements. Relationship building with team members, with visits to the Madrid office determined by residency. A horizontal company structure with access to upper management. A passion for science and improving patient care, with clinicians who still see patients. Responsibilities Managing and leading a Project Team. Ensuring that the project is completed on budget, on schedule, and within scope. Monitoring project progress and performance levels. Checking progress toward objectives, determining causes of deviations, and taking corrective actions. Developing and maintaining a detailed Project Plan and managing the team’s execution of project tasks. Managing project deliverables in line with the Project Plan. Managing project resources and availability across project phases. Acting as the key contact for client management. Communicating efficiently throughout the project life, including status reports, internal and external meeting organization, and escalation of unresolved issues. Coordinating activities across different organizational departments. Participating in proposals and bid defences. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, life sciences or related discipline (required); master’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Fluency in English (spoken and written). Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Project Associate, Project Management Assistant or PM in a CRO or biopharmaceutical company. Knowledge and experience working in international multi‑country non‑interventional studies or pharmacoepidemiologic studies is preferred. Knowledge of ICH, GPP and GCP guidelines, as well as European regulations. Advanced computer skills including Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other project management software. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong operational management skills with attention to detail. Ability to lead a cross‑functional team in a matrix environment. Proven complex problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time. We Offer Full‑time, permanent contract.
