As Regulatory Affairs Manager , you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the geographical expansion of a dietary supplement ingredient business . Based in Barcelona , you’ll coordinate regulatory activities that ensure timely and compliant product registrations, authorizations, marketing & scientific communication across international markets, while providing expert guidance to cross-functional teams. In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate with colleagues in R&D, Product Management, Quality, Sales, and Marketing to bring innovative nutraceuticals & dietary supplement ingredients to market. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate regulatory submissions (new applications, variations, renewals) for dietary supplement ingredients across global markets (USA, EU, ANZ, Brazil, and others). Maintain and update regulatory documentation. Monitor and interpret evolving ingredient, nutraceutical and dietary supplement legislation, identifying opportunities and risks. Advise internal stakeholders on ingredient authorizations, nutrition & health claims, and composition. Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable business insights to support innovation. Ensure compliance with external regulations and internal policies. About You Degree in Life Sciences as Biochemistry, Food & Nutrition, or Law, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in end to end regulatory affairs within the dietary supplement or food industry. Strong knowledge of EU and US legislation; familiarity with Asian frameworks is a plus. Proven ability to deliver risk-based regulatory advice to commercial teams. Fluent in English; Spanish is desirable given the role’s location. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills. Comfortable working in global teams and navigating a fast-changing regulatory landscape.
