The Payroll Squad is a Global Team at PayFit that ensures our clients can manage their payroll reliably and on time. We build and operate the services that calculate monthly payroll, generate payslips, apply payroll corrections autonomously within the month, and provide real‑time previews of payslips.Our current challenges are:Evolving and scaling our payroll computation and payslip generation services across France, Spain and the UK to guarantee accuracy, reliability, and on‑time delivery at scale.Strengthening our event‑driven and domain‑driven architectures to improve correctness, observability, and developer velocity across a broad, multi‑country domain.This role is for you ifYou are a Senior Engineer with 6+ years of experience.You are comfortable with Typescript, Node.js, React and Javascript ecosystem overall.You are comfortable with AWS services, especially with serverless components (Lambda, Step Functions, workflow orchestration).You are comfortable with Infrastructure as Code and deploying different kinds of projects.You can write RFCs, discuss them, and reach conclusions.You are a problem solver: a pragmatic and product‑driven engineer who is interested in solving problems and delivering value while taking into
